Giants Deadline Moves

I'm happy with our acquisitions. I feel it brings a good platoon at 1st and solidifies our 2b where Downs/Burris just stunk it up. Even though we traded Alderson away he was still just "potential" and is a toss up whether he will even pitch in the big leagues.

I just read on the gate:

Deadline stuff: Two players on the Giants' radar were moved Friday. Cleveland sent power-hitting catcher/first baseman Victor Martinez to Boston, and Washington traded first baseman Nick Johnson to Florida.

I would have went bonkers if the yiyants traded away Bumgarner. Madison's stats are Lincecum pt 2 -esque. I can't wait for the yiyant to bring up Madison and put him in the pen and blast fools away to clinch the west/wildcard.
