District 13 is not the sequel to District 9

"District 13: Ultimatum" is the follow up to the hit action French movie "District 13" aka "Banlieue 13." Bri and I were fortunate to catch the first film during a limited release in San Francisco. Impressive action overall. Parkour, the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one's path by adapting one's movements to the environment, is still a legit sport. What I didn't realize before, the film "District 13" stars the founder of parkour, David Belle.

"Jacket off" blood....

Yet another in a long line of 80s remakes. I heard about this film a while ago. Not sure if it's something I would go and pay for but regardless, this looks like a film that will be replayed at my work like 100 times.

Gotta love that risk taking Hollywood movie machine.
