Snickers? Southwest? Nope, Minute Maid.

Bad Minute Maid. Baaaaad.

That stuff tastes good by the way.

Tokyo Magnum!

Before there was Hard Gay there was a male exotic dancer/wrestler named Tokyo Magnum (also of Monday Night Wars era WCW). The more jaw dropping entrances are forever gone from youtube but recently he returned to face a new heel.....Monster Hard Gay (I will admit that it sucks that they don't take on each other as faces).

Maybe we can practice this entrance for the wedding reception.

Kimbo Slice, The Ultimate Fighter?

Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson (maybe he's related to Fergie) has been signed to appear on the next UFC's Ultimate Fighter (I think I'm late to the game on this. It looks like it was official in June. And Edwayne kept talkin about it.)

This comes as a surprise especially knowing UFC president Dana White's fairly low opinion of what Kimbo brings to the sport of MMA (Slice's recent loss pretty much sealed the fate of Elite XC as a competitor to the UFC). Yet, White seems to respect Kimbo taking on the challenge of TUF.

Regardless, the coaches for this season are Rampage and Rashard Evans. So the entertainment portion of the show can be guaranteed at least.

Niners Stadium in Santa Clara... Good or bad?

The San Francisco Chronicle (or sfgate.com, whichever you read) has been doing a week-long series of the possibility of the Niners moving to Santa Clara with the proposed stadium up for vote in March.

The stories include how devastating it would be for the 49ers to move to the South Bay after a long tradition in the City by the Bay.

Personally I don't mind them moving to Santa Clara as long as they do not move out of the bay area. With all the conflicts between the Dr. Dork and the Gav (SF mayor Gavin Newsom) in terms of the layout of the stadium on the old Naval shipyard, I guess it got to the point in which the doctor thought it was best to move the location next to the practice facility.

Again, I am not against the Niners moving down there, but ideally it would be nice to have them build the stadium in the shipyard, which would be great for the City's longstanding tradition with the 49ers!!

Well at least Jed has the City as a backup plan to fall back on.

Home Run Derby Bust?

Is anyone even worthy of competing in the American League, save for perhaps Carlos Pena?

What a joke!

The Senior Circuit, meanwhile, features a star-studded row of contestants.

Anyone TIVO this? How about another pool? I'll take Ryan Howard.

Awww yeah?

Our pal Roid recently did the voice work for a commercial spot for Skinit.com entitled "Body Paint".

Now, he swears that he had nothin' to do with what the actor screams at about the 28 second mark.

I don't believe him.

Humping Rampage!?!?

Quinton "Rampage (it's not just a video game with monsters destroying buildings anymore) Jackson is one of my all time favorite MMA fighters and a self described dog wolf thing. Cagepotato.com reporter Heather Nichols (the kinda Tara Reid/Amy Lee cutie pictured below) learns first hand. Whoa.

Now, I was shown this today by my pal Dozer and something occurred to me. Like, I knew he was funny (and nuts) but I wonder if he had been this way when he fought in Pride. Oh...yup.

Lookie what I found

Jackpot! They have one of my all time favorite beers at the BevMo in Santa Clara, Hitachino white ale. I've been to a bunch of BevMo's and specialty beer stores and Hitachino is kinda difficult to find.

What makes Hitachino beer so different is that they use European beer making technology with traditional Japanese brewing techniques. For these brews, they mature their beer in shochu casks. Shochu is like a stronger sake. This brewing process also helped the white ale win gold medals in several beer competitions in the US and UK.

If you like Hoegaarden, Chimay blue, Duvel, Blue Moon, then you might like Hitachino white ale. Try it in a snifter to get all the aromatics.

Plus, it has a pretty cool owl logo.

Why would these teams do it?

> The Warriors clear out idiot and potential problem child Monta Ellis, package along Corey Maggette and include Brandan Wright to balance out the deal.

> The Jazz need to shed payroll so they can match the Blazers offer sheet for Paul Milsap. Getting back the Thomas brothers and their expiring contracts helps them accomplish this.

> The Bulls could use the high-scoring Ellis to replace the departed Ben Gordon, and with a potentially crowded backcourt, exchange Kirk Hinrich for an instant offense threat in Maggette (to replace Gordon's 6th man duties). Picking up Brandan Wright softens the blow of losing Thomas.

Chicago could also send a 1st-round pick to Utah to balance out the talent. Thoughts?
