A 'real' Gundam in Japan!

All I have to say is that, 2 days ago, I was fuckin' lit and ended up at Border's @ Stonestown lookin' at the current magazines out and happen to stumble on a mag w/ a life size Gundam statue in it. I was so lit, this kid was just staring at me doing an impression of . . ME (a blank stare w/ eyes wide open). I just remembered 'bout that shit right now.

For more, look @ http://www.bamkapow.com/post.phtml?pk=3413

And I have to say that I haven't seen the early blog messages here but if you guys ever do a personal blog awards type thing here that I'd like to nominate Earl's smiley face dude video as a Post Of The Year candidate. The feeling of watching that shit was like interupting a cociane storting session.

Sports Cards & Collectibles Show at Serramonte Mall this weekend

I remember as a lil' kid going to Serramonte and Tanforan to check out these baseball card shows. Dozens upon dozens of tables filled with sports cards and other cool stuff. Unfortunately I don't collect as much as I used to and the collectibles market is just saturated. However, I still don't mind going to these shows just to see what's hot and not nowadays. So if ya'll are in town, stop by Serramonte for the Fall Sports Card and Collectibles Show and feel like a lil' kid again- except without stealing.

Oh and one thing, former Import and Playboy model Flo Jalin will be there so you can relive your Hot Import Nights memories and East Meets West Calendars (shout out to Tower Records and photographer Kim Mizuno).

This IS Aww yeahh

It's a way of life and this guy gets it.

Some thing tells me that he'd fit in with us.

So I'm lookin for new dances...

...for next week, and I find this.

Basically, these ESL teachers in Korea love K-pop and made a video showcasing some of their favorite K-pop dances.

The vids kinda long (aww yeahh), but 1:17 looks pretty easy and is my favorite.

Maybe we can do one of these dances instead of the electric slide.

That's it!!!

First it was El Chupacabra. Now this. I wanna see the Tooth Fairy and the Loch Ness Monster NOW!!!

Just in case you missed it, monsters and mysterious creatures exist. And apparently it existed in Panama. Existed. Past tense.

The "Montauk Monster" as it is being called was beaten to death by a group of teens who saw the slimy, hairless creature come crawling out of a cave in the city of Cerro Azul. Surprised no one decided to eat him. Someone always wants to do that (see: rare sharks, Filipinos).

In any event, I sorta feel sorry for it. But, I don't really blame the kids if they were really scared (though if they just ran away, no one would've believed them...so KILL IT!?!?).

Still, it would've been nice to see it alive. If there was one. Maybe there is more.

Bye Cow Palace??

Like all responsible adults I get my news from....Facebook?

Apparently, the Cow Palace is up for sale again. Once sold, the land can be used for just about anything from housing to landfill.

There is a movement to save the Cow Palace but given the current economic climate and other factors it wouldn't surprise me if this is it.

All I can think of are the many events (mostly wrestling) that I've seen in that very arena. Kinda sad but commonplace.

So that led me to a conversation with my co-worker and an idea. I guess I should go there one more time. One more event. Bring a camera. Film something. Just in case.

I wonder what's comin' up....wait...Ed posted a great idea....

Galavanting With The Stars!

Ok, even I can't ignore the amount of Filipino dancin' on this season's "Dancing With The Stars".

This season Marc Dacascos (of Only The Strong, Crying Freeman, Brotherhood of the Wolf, The Crow: Stairway To Heaven and Iron Chef fame) is dancing with hottie SYTYCD winner Lacey Schwimmer.

In addition to Marc, the Bay Area's own mestiza Gold Medalist, Natalie Coughlin dances with European John Basedow look alike Alec Mazo.

When you add them to mix with the always smokin' resident mestiza dancing machine, Cheryl Burke, you're half way to a family reunion at Coyote Point.

Not sure if this show is on any of your radars but it's a fav of mine.

What do yall think of Craptree

I was excited when he dropped to us. Now, I think he's a friggin bum.

He's asking Heyward Bey money and he doesn't deserve it since he ain't proved shit in the NFL.

He's supposed to make X amount due to the NFL slotting pay scale.

Man, I wish someone would knock some sense upside his head.

Singletary even talked about how he held out and missed about a week of practice because he felt he was a 1st rounder ( he was taken in the 2nd). So Sing can relate to this beyotch.

I'd have to say Michael Craptree is the biggest douche-tard in the NFL. Yes, surpassing TO.
