Warriors Could Leave Raiders Only Oakland Team

Lost in all the Warriors For Sale hoopla is the notion of Oakland being left with just one sports franchise.

We know the A's have their hearts set on packing their bags and driving down the 880 to the Silicon Valley.

However, another team with Santa Clara aspirations may not necessarily mean The City will finally have three sports teams.

"...if Coliseum officials have their way, Oakland will soon have a football-only stadium that is home to the Raiders and its cross-bay rivals, the San Francisco 49ers."

Rumor: Warriors to Unveil New Uniforms on Draft Night

I suppose the good news continues to emanate from 1101 Broadway.

WarriorsWorld.net is reporting the Warriors are scheduled to unveil a new logo and new uniforms on draft night

"Sources who have seen the artist rendering of the possible new logo describe it as an updated version of the team logo from the Run TMC era, the new logo will be a circular logo with a silhouette of the new Bay Bridge Tower and the words “Golden State” on the top to the circle and “Warriors” on the bottom of the circle. The alternate road jerseys will be  a gold color, similar to the “The City” jerseys."

 Along with the team announcing it is up for sale, a high lottery pick and the bare notion that they would scrap the Thunder-inspired unis, we have to be very pleased to possibly start -- gulp -- watching again.

Geeks unite! WonderCon- The annual gathering of pop-culture, comic-book lovin', toy frenzy, sci-fi fanatical, wallet busting enthusiasts (plus kids and such) is coming to the Moscone Center (special shout out to Kris), April 2-4. Last year, I had an awesome time representing Bastard & Friends, a company which I did some artwork for. This year, I'm looking forward to supporting our good friends of Dragatomi- Sacramento's premier designer toy retailer and gallery!



Dragatomi is having their first-ever WonderCon retailer booth and will be co-hosting a special after party this Saturday, April 3rd, 7-10pm, at New People/ VIZ Cinema in Japantown.
