We know the A's have their hearts set on packing their bags and driving down the 880 to the Silicon Valley.
However, another team with Santa Clara aspirations may not necessarily mean The City will finally have three sports teams.

As we stand now I can stand to loose the Niners to Santa Clara and gain the Warriors in SF. After years of enjoying football titles here, I can go most of the rest of my adult life not seeing another Niner championship.

In a perfect world I would like our Niners to stay in the city while we welcome back our hoops team!
I dont mind if the niners move to the home of Great America, they already have their practice facility over there so why not just play next door.
ReplyDeleteI would trade that for the warriors moving to downtown SF. Of course as a fan of both teams and a resident of the City, it would be even better have the W's and niners play in SF. But that's asking too much....huh mr. newsome???
