It has finally been announced today that our San Francisco UFL franchise will be named "California Redwoods". I was hoping for "Rockfish" (Bri's guess). Now I really wonder what their cheer squad will be named... Redheads? Wood Sprites? Lumberjacks?
I'm looking forward to the player roster though. The Las Vegas Locomotives have J.P. Losman and Tim Rattay. Rumors are swirling that the Redwoods are very interested in Michael Vick.
