...or any other impact player hitting the free agent market this season. I would want to get a good bat for the Giants but not to rent for the rest of the season. They should look to sign the player long term. But the other problem is which current Giant and/or prospect(s) are they willing to give up???
Hopefully some team out there is willing to take Barry Zito and his salary...hahaha

Honestly, this is a GSW like situation. I think that they need to upgrade but, given the current circumstances, they should probably hold off.

I think they will wait and see how the team fares while Big Unit is out, then make a decision.
The giants can probably get Bobby Estalella for Zito, that is if he's not on the juice anymore!!!!
