The San Jose Mercury has reported that San Jose city leaders are pushing to acquire the Sacramento Kings.
This is definitely the result of a few things:
1) The Kings have been pushing for a new stadium for some time now. Sacramento leaders don't wanna give them one. (What's wrong with a stadium that has several liquor shot bars in each section!)
2) The Warriors have territorial rights to San Jose (and used to play there) but are becoming less and less desirable as we speak. So "Go F*ck Yourself Golden State."
3) The Kings Cheerleaders are FANTASTIC. San Jose must surely miss their Sabrekittens.
I'm not sure if I believe in this (kinda like Warrior management) but I am curious to see what transpires.
From the sac to san ho huh?? Hopefully this will make Chris Cohan reconsider not selling the W's because now he has to actually make a competitive team in order to take more of the fanbase from the future Kings fans in the south bay.
