I actually thought that all the previous Kanye whining was somewhat amusing up until now. Up until now he was upstaging adults who could handle it. Now he decided to humiliate a young lady who was genuinely surprised at her good fortune.Kanye uses the mostly tired excuse of "keepin' it real" to explain his actions. Fine. But, write a blog or something ("Single Ladies" was a cool video but dang). Do you have to pick on the kid?
Kanye also stated that in the past he gave up awards that he didn't deserve (i.e. Outkast). Great. Not all artists must subscribe to your thinking.
I dunno. Somehow I found this truly mean. What if that could have been my kid? I would've killed that guy. It's disappointing especially because I am a Kanye fan. This makes this more difficult.
What a Diva. He should join Paula Abdul on that show later this week.

Maybe Kayne should just make music, do some music videos, promos and cameos related to his music and that's its. No more showings at award shows and be on TV tryin to 'keepin it real.' with his opinion. Just stick to music man!!!!

ReplyDeleteSpecial K: Obviously, Kanye cares about awards. Like more than anyone. Metallica didn't get in anyone's face after NOT winning a Grammy that they should have. I mean...it's an MTV Music Video Award. They are a popular vote.
