....talkin about being the best ever QB. Homeboy is sick with the stats but show me the rings baby. He only got 1 and is only 9-9 in the playoffs. I'd put him behind Brady and he has to at least get two more superbowls to be considered in the realm of Joe Montana.
I completely agree. Peyton is a Beast but in a world where we measure these athletes by the number of Championships they won and probably to everyone who reads and writes in this blog, probably "measures" the athletes to other standards (Aww Yeah!). I think he will be mentioned as one of the best QB to play all-time but not because i'm biased but Montana is the best QB player of all-time because he can win in the regular season and more importantly he can Win super Bowls.
ReplyDeleteexactly, the stage was set for peyton to take it to the next level - 5 min left in the 4th, down by 7, he throws the pick 6 instead of the tie.
ReplyDeletegood to see brees get his due.
I dont like how the media is protraying Peyton as the greatest ever if he won on Sunday. Those media folks should get hassled for saying that, not Peyton. He's there doing the best he can putting crazy stats and when he loses a playoff game, like this past Sunday, people are critizing him for not cementing himself as the best ever.
ReplyDeleteYo, I never heard Peyton say that he should be considered with the likes of Montana, Elway, Staubach, Brady, and Johnny U., its those damn media people saying that. Plus you cant measure someone's career when he's still playing. Do it after he's done
